Why
Ken,
Would you please help me understand why this was moved and the ID I have posted is not used? Was it sent to a specialist? I am having a hard time understanding what the ID process is lately.
Thanks, John

Speyeria
I do not feel qualified to identify most of the western Speyeria, John. We only have 3 species where I live. That's why I left it in the genus. I certainly wasn't disagreeing with you. I moved it from "butterflies and skippers" hoping someone would see it on the Speyeria page and confirm your id. If you're comfortable with your id please go ahead and move it where you feel it should go. Nobody was going to learn from it sitting in the broad butterflies and skippers category. It had been sitting there since 2018. I hope this addresses your concerns.

Helpful
Ken,
That helps me know somewhat of the process. The ID is actually correct. It was IDed by Todd Stout, here in Utah, who knows his Utah butterflies very well. I don't know how to move it to the right place. Would you move it for me or teach me how to do it?
Thanks, John
