Ophiogomphus carolus? - Ophiogomphus carolus

Ophiogomphus carolus? - Ophiogomphus carolus
Finland, Lake County, Minnesota, USA
July 17, 2018
I believe it is female. Looking through multiple guides, I was pretty sure this was Ophiogomphus carolus, but that species described variously as having black legs (Mead) or black femora (Paulson). In photos from multiple angles the femora of this species appear to be mostly, but not entirely black.
