Polycesta hageni - female

Polycesta hageni - Female
Weldon, Kern County, California, USA
June 15, 2005
Collected on Chrysothamnus. The species is black with thicker, white pubescence on the ventral surface. It lacks the bronze reflections that you see in P. californica. It also looks proportionately wider.

Moved from Polycesta.
