Katydid - Amblycorypha oblongifolia - male

Katydid - Amblycorypha oblongifolia - Male
Fairfield, Wayne County, Illinois, USA
July 29, 2007
Attracted to my garage light at night. Is this a round-head?

Amblycorypha oblongifolia
This specimen has all the characteristics to put it in the oblongifolia complex which seperates from all but 5 of the Amblycorypha species. However the other 4 are restricted to regions several hundred miles away from where this individual was found. I feel confident calling this Oblong-winged Katydid (Amblycorypha oblongifolia).

Thanks
Philip. Appreciate your help.
