Wasp ovipositing - Mesochorus - Female

Saw her ovipositing (I think) into a wooly bear caterpillar (Pyrrharctia isabella).

Mesochorus…
Mesochorus are often hyperparasitoids (i.e. they attack other parasitoids), their usual hosts are Braconidae (especially Microgastrinae) and less frequently Ichneumonidae and Tachinidae.
