Canada Darner ? - Aeshna

Canada Darner ? - Aeshna
Three Mile Bay, White Lake, Lanark, Ontario, Canada
September 17, 2018
It would have been nice to get a side view of the thorax, but the dragonfly was not co-operating.

Moved from ID Request.

Male Aeshna sp.
It is a male Aeshna (mosaic) Darner. With those cerci, it is not Shadow or Lance-tipped. However, without a look at the thoracic stripes, it can't be taken further.

Thanks
I was afraid you'd say that. :-)
