Moth - Acleris youngana
Pine Swamp Road, Kempton, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA
October 10, 2018
On this, the possibly last night of the year worth setting up UV black lights in my area, with summery temperatures to the 70's at night. Tomorrow 10/11 the chillier rains come, and not much hope for a lot of good mothing anymore this season. Even tonight only eleven species combined at two setups, mostly Palthis angularis, surprisingly several Rivula propinqualis, and later Ailanthus Webworm. The present species was the prize of the night, which upon submission to BG caused a darkening within the borders for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the BG Contributed Images Map.
