Ladybug Madness

There are ladybugs all over my house right now, particularly in the living room. I don't think they are unsanitary or anything, and normally I would just enjoy their company.

However, they do bother my wife.

I won't kill them, but I am wondering if anyone has any clue what might have attracted them, so I might be able to do something about the source of the problem.

Asian lady beetles
Is it Harmonia axyridis? Probably. This is an introduced species, that fights some aphids very efficiently, but also out-competes many native species of lady beetles or even eats them. Read more here. Personally, I don't have the same scruples about killing introduced species that I have about native ones.

Pretty regular occurrence around here at least.
