Largus bipustulatus - Largus maculatus

Largus bipustulatus - Largus maculatus
Katy, Harris County, Texas, USA
October 12, 2018
Assuming I have only one species of Largus in my yard, the nymphs here should all be the same species as they were all collected from the same tree, a persimmon, feeding on the fruit. This adult was reared from the larger nymph here. The larger nymph was given an apple and in about 2 weeks it moulted into this adult.

The images BG has under L. bipustulatus may actually be L. maculatus. This group needs the attention of an expert. Placing these at genus for now.

On another note... Since the smaller nymph is a different individual, it should be unlinked from the other images. The two individuals can be cross referenced by placing thumbnails in the Remarks section of each, if you wish.
