Euxoa velleripennis? - Euxoa velleripennis - female

Euxoa velleripennis? - Euxoa velleripennis - Female
Princeton, Sherburne County, Minnesota, USA
September 14, 2018
Size: WS 37 mm
Came to BL in willow wetland. I had posted this as a male based on the pale HW but have since observed that the appearance of the female HW can vary greatly, from very dark to very light, depending on angle of lighting (quite unlike the male). And the antennae seen here are female. I have posted a male for comparison.
