Maggot

Maggot
Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
June 7, 2007
Size: 10-15mm
A young Mourning Dove died, probably after hitting a window. After a few days I removed it and found a large number of maggots underneath. This is one of the largest.

ID as blow fly by Eric R. Eaton (of same photo posted to Flickr).
