Diphyllostoma fimbriata - Diphyllostoma fimbriatum - female

Diphyllostoma fimbriata - Diphyllostoma fimbriatum - Female
Ash Mountain, Tulare County, California, USA
July 26, 1985
Size: ca. 10 mm
Females are flightless and crawl up onto grass stems to call males. The female was missing most of her tarsal segments when I found her, but beggars can't be choosers. I've found two females.
