Clambus howdeni - male

Clambus howdeni - Male
Piscataquis County, Maine, USA
June 11, 2014
Collected from sweeping vegetation. Keys out nicely to Clambus vulneratus in (1). I double checked this in (2) and (3). Also, it's a very good match to the type specimen at MCZ.

edit: I revisited this specimen, and realized I misinterpreted a character in the keys. It was a male, and so I was able to dissect out the aedeagus to confirm it is actually Clambus howdeni... and vulneratus remains elusive.

Specimen deposited in MFD private collection.
