barklouse nymph

barklouse nymph

We get a lot of barklice about now. This nymph came to visit the shop siding. It now looks a lot like Graphopsocus cruciatus.

I recognized "the wall"
This is a nymph, probably Caeciliusidae.

Nymphs can be difficult ..
without having the specimen on hand, I could only guess Caeciliusidae.

thanks Diane!
Thanks Diane! This picture was taken back in 2018 - it now looks a LOT like G. cruciatus. I'll keep an eye out. The Wall has been pretty bare for months now. I've put out only a couple blogs in the last couple of months. The E. meridionalis eggs are still out there. (last I've been able to bend down to look). Thanks a lot, more to come. Martha
