Acrobasis betulella

Acrobasis betulella
Pine Brook, Isanti County, Minnesota, USA
Size: WS 23 mm.
On May 22, 2012 found a globular frass shelter on a white birch sapling in a leatherleaf bog. On May 27 many tiny black wasps eclosed. On June 11 two moths found eclosed. Surprised this was a group shelter (though perhaps more likely several, closely grouped).
