Size: length ~10mm/ 3/8 in.
I believe this is a Cucumber Beetle...but I had no cucumbers in my garden this year (ha).

Identifiction
Yes this is a cucumber beetle (Diabrotica undecimpunctata) you don't necessarily have to have cucumbers for these guys to show up either, just a heads up!!

 
Appreciate the ID assist
Thank you for your time with the ID. I'm wondering if the coloration has anything to do with the aposematic scheme that I recently learned about; aka, is this guy toxic/ inpalatable to predators or just a mimic of something else?
