Identification

Lines more strongly zigzagged than in D. dentilinea with black spot near tornus more conspicuous. In the latter, the am. and pm. lines usually do not touch and the black spot is often absent.

Range

West coast states, as far east as Sierra Nevada in California and the Cascade Range in Oregon. (1)

Remarks

The BIN group for this species is BOLD:AAF5240. The CNC images in that BIN are used in the paper describing this new species. The BIN for Dolocucullia dentilinea is BOLD:AAF5239.
