This had six legs, two antennae, and compound eyes. Was flying around before coming to a rest on the door in front of me.

It's a 2300 pixel image, but it's barely discernible in the 560 pixel reduction that you can see.

Please crop your images to a rectangle that is essentially
'just the bug'. And please tell your classmates to do the same. Notice the difference between what is viewable now and what you initially posted. You, as the contributor, could click on the original image and see the full size image you uploaded. The rest of us are restricted to the 560 pixel reduction where we could barely tell that you had posted a fly because there was so much non-insect in your post. Please spread the word among your classmates. It is very difficult to identify the tiny bugs we see because you all include some much non-bug in your posts. Cropping is a wonderful tool. You all should learn it. Thanks
