Cyrtolobus sp. - Cyrtolobus discoidalis - female

Cyrtolobus sp. - Cyrtolobus discoidalis - Female
Wildwood, St. Louis County, Missouri, USA
May 10, 2001
Size: 6.1mm
Taken at mercury-vapor lamp in mesic upland oak-hickory forest.

This looks very much like the female from 0.5 mi N of Prathersville (photo #161134). I collected many females at this locality over several nights but am not sure which males they are associated with - perhaps the one shown in photo #161133?

Moved
Moved from Cyrtolobus.

Cyrtolobus discoidalis
This has one of the largest pronotal crests in the genus, extending almost to the wing tips.
