Arizona Moth - Eupithecia sp-eight

Arizona Moth - Eupithecia sp-eight
Rustler Park, Chiricahua Mts. , Cochise County, Arizona, USA
August 29, 2018
Size: about 18 mm wingspan
I thought this might be an easier Eupithecia with its heavy sharp lines, the sharp angled PM line, and heavy discal dash, but no images I have seen of Eupitheciini on MPG or BG even approach it for the clarity and distinctness of these combined features. Its a small moth based on size comparison with vial lid (about 18 mm wingspan) and the comparative hugeness of Mighty Mite clinging to its abdomen. On sheet with UV black light at higher elevations of Chiricahua Mts. Submitted for any further ideas for ID.

NEW INSIGHT - Based on information shown on plate 183 of the following publication - Ferris, C.D., 2018. Geometridae: Larentiinae: Eupitheciini (Part). Lepidoptera of North America, Part 14. Contributions of the C.P. Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity Colorado State University. It is called "Eupithecia species 8 - undescribed?" A comment is made - "This moth is known from 3 specimens in EME from the Chiricahua Mts., Cochise Co., Arizona: 2 males from Rustler Park, 8500', 12 July, 1972 and 1 specimen from Barfoot Park, 5 August, 1991. Based on the male genitalia, this moth appears to be close to E. huachuca." The specimen submitted here matches the image of plate 183, and is from exactly the same area as that imaged species. The publication can be accessed from MPG by opening any Eupithecia species from the Plate 17.9 - 7445-7648 : Eupithecia, Lithostege, and using the link under REFERENCES.
