Possibly a Hystrichopsylla species
Hi! That's a cool flea! I think it is a Hystrichopsylla species, but a flea expert may be able to confirm that. With the 3 antepygidial spines per side, it would not be the largest species, Hystrichopsylla schefferi, that uses mountain beavers as hosts, but it could be another species in the genus.

Thanks! Ya, I wasn't sure if it was Hystrichopsylla schefferi, it was really big I know that, and we have plenty of mountain beaver living on and near our property (one even lives in our "yard").
