Xestia plebeia

Xestia plebeia
Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada
August 24, 2007
Can't find page for this but think it is Xestia plebeia - based on CBI and Jim Vargo sites. Found three times at two different locations this summer. Will put in the two other photos separately

distinctive cluster of spots
Moved from Xestia to new species page.

The only other photo I could find was at CBIF. The photo at MPG (Moth Photographers Group) is a single-wing copy of the CBIF photo. Is there a Jim Vargo photo elsewhere?

Don't think so.
Just checked my notes - the only photo I found was the same one at the CBIF site. The Jim Vargo photo is the copy at the MPG site. Tried to find other photos elsewhere, but no luck. Don't like trying to make a call based on only one other image, although this seemed to fit. Thought if I posted it, someone might be able to confirm or not!
