Agapostemon? - Agapostemon - male - female

Agapostemon? - Agapostemon - Male Female
River Haven Drive, Mariposa County, California, USA
November 14, 2018
In a patch of Gaillardia going to seed in a residential flower garden at 2100 feet in the Sierra foothills. Female was foraging on flowers and easy to photo. Male was patrolling the patch and not ever landing. While photoing female, male swooped in and had contact with female for less than a second. Then male quickly took off. Got one shot of male and female just after contact before the male flew. This sequence happened about three time and then the male landed on a separate flower and I was able to photo him setting still briefly.
