Very excited to find this Cosmopterix moth in my MV trap this morning. Did take a read through Koster (2010) for species likely here in California. Two photos focused different. Hopefully all parts can be seen pretty clearly.

So far as I can tell this individual an example of Cosmopterix pulchrimella? Shape of the transverse colored fascia of FW and surrounding tubercular fascia seems to match? Also other features like white lines in basal area FW short and not reaching base of FW.

I assumed this would have been Cosmopterix montisella based on MPG map.

Would appreciate feedback if I am totally off track here.
