Range
mostly Mediterranean; in our area, w. NA (BC‒CA‒MT)(1)
Food
hosts: Rosaceae, Ericaceae(1); West Coast species feed on tender leaves of strawberry and bramble bushes(3)
Remarks
The size/color/punctation characters reported to distinguish the 2 spp. recognized in our area "are so variable and overlapping that I sometimes doubt that there is more than [one] species [...] Very dark color and less coarse punctation is supposedly characteristic of T. intricata." ‒S.M.
