Trichiotinus assimilis
About 16 miles north of Tofte, MN on a Rice Lake Road which runs south from The Grade, Cook County, Minnesota, USA
July 21, 2018
Several beetles were seen feeding on the flowers and developing fruits of common cow parsnip (Heracleum maximum). Habitat was a low spot in the forest road where it passed through a mixed shrub and forested wetland.
