Tall coreopsis,
Coreopsis tripteris, is native to southern Iowa and I collected seeds for a northeast Iowa prairie planting. It is not native to NE Iowa and has become prolific to say the least. Anytime I find insects eating this plant I am delighted. I've found leaf miners on it from at least 2014 but cannot rear them (yet) but I keep trying.
