Catocala

Catocala
Willard Peak Road, Box Elder County, Utah, USA
July 10, 2018
Caught at a mercury light. I am thinking this is a Catocala semirelicta (Hodges #2018). It is hard to figure out without a view of the hindwings. Am I correct? Is the scallop markings on the outer edge of the forewings only found in Catocala?

Might be C. junctura, moved for expert attention
Moved from ID Request.

Possibly
Kyhl,
I looked up C. junctura and I can see what you are thinking. Both are also in Utah. I will be interested in what others think. It is nice to have you and others helping me with this.
