Hypogastruridae Börner 1906

~150 spp.(1) in 20 genera in our area, close to 700 spp. in ~40 genera worldwide(2)

Remarks

Our only representative of the superfamily Hypogastruroidea, that includes two more small families(2)
Some Hypogastrura (generally bluish) and Ceratophysella (generally more purplish) species form conspicuous mass aggregations.
