July 16, 2018: found this larva in the rearing container of these Woolly Bears

Must have come in with the Elm leaves, food for the Woolly Bears, which this larva continued to eat.
July 22, 2018: already a pupa! (14 mm)
August 7, 2018: after being away for several days, returned to a beat up live moth, set free. Looking through the milled peat substrate, found beautiful aquamarine eggs (can't be fertile)
