Larvae?

Larvae?
Cullowhee, Jackson County, North Carolina, USA
December 6, 2018
I think this is a larva but I am unsure. Does anyone know what it is?

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Yes, Coleoptera for sure.
Looks like Lampyridae, a firefly larva, or something closely related. Generally, a dorsal shot is necessary for a positive ID. It would also help to have a picture with the entire specimen, because beetle larvae often have paired appendages on the back end that differentiate certain groups.
