Thanks so much
for the identification. I keep finding these springtails throughout the gopher tortoise preserve at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida in leaf litter. Are you interested in describing the species? If so, I'd like to collaborate with you by sending you a few preserved individuals to study in more detail. Also, I would very much enjoy getting to help name this new species, if that is what you determine it is. Please contact me at my e-mail address: ssnyder2@columbus.rr.com.

I do not feel qualified enough...
to do this description, sorry. You could contact Dr Snider

who is an expert in nearctic Symphypleona.
