November 30, 2018: JD Thompson collected galls on Bindweed, Calystegia sepium
cut open 4 galls in search of a larva
December 6, 2018: this is gall #1, dead larva was in a hardened long central gall (that may be surrounded by fungus)
gall #2: opened to dead larval husk and parasitoid larva

gall #3: squished the larva while opening
gall #4: a live fly larva

Rest of galls into the fridge for winter
May 19, 2019: o/b, 1 gall fly emerged, far more wasps emerged than this 1 gall fly
