Anthophora californica? - Melissodes

Anthophora californica? - Melissodes
Bodega, Sonoma County, California, USA
June 20, 2012

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

looks like two different bees
1. Melissodes
2. Anthophora urbana

Anthophora californica?
Thank you John. I will move the image of Melissodes to a separate ID request with additional images of the same bee. I will also resubmit Anthophora urbana. Looking at urbana and californica side by side, the primary difference seems to be the length of hair on the abdomens. Is there more?
