In addition to the two prominent spots on the anterior edge of the shield, the shield has two noticeable U-shaped lighter zones, one on each side extending over half the length of the shield; these show up best in the second and fourth photos. Exudes a volatile odor reminiscent of a cherry liqueur when handled.
