Illinois Syrphid - Eristalis dimidiata -

I was only visiting for a while, so tried to take as many unique bug photos as I could. There were tons of woolly bear caterpillars crawling around, which was really cool.

There were a lot of bees, but this Syrphid stuck out because it didn't seem to have any yellow on it.
