Range
New World, Australia, and Africa; in our area, from se. Canada to FL-CA(1)
Habitat
Meso- to xerophilous: open deciduous woods, meadows, disturbed areas; adults spend the day under leaf litter, stones, logs.(2)
Remarks
Adults mostly macropterous, nocturnal, and may come to lights(2)
