From Dr. Mockford ...
This is a Mesopsocus. There are only two species recorded from eastern North America, and I think this must be M. unipunctatus. The other species, M. laticeps, has more extensive dark marking on the face. Of course, it would be good to see the specimen, but I doubt that it was collected.
