ichneumon wasp - Pristomerus

ichneumon wasp - Pristomerus
Decorah Prairie, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
September 26, 2018
Size: 6 mm
This looks a lot like a tiny ichneumon wasp in the genus Pristomerus. I noticed there were very few images of this genus in the guide pages though, so I'm curious to know what it might be.

Pristomerus
Thanks so much for your help with this Pristomerus wasp, Ken!

The tooth on the hind femur and thyridium on the second tergite suggest this genus.

See reference here.

That's great news, Ross. I noticed there were no examples of the Pristomerus genus from the Midwest, so I thought it must be something else.
