Symphypleona - Sminthurinus henshawi

Symphypleona - Sminthurinus henshawi
Packwood, Lewis County, Washington, USA
December 24, 2018
Size: 0.5 mm
Only this one photo. It appears similar to Sminthurinus henshawi forma aureus for several features. The size. The legs appear light colored and the antennae look lighter near the head and darkening at the end. It looks like the body darkens toward the legs. Or considering the size, maybe a juvenile for some species. On a lit cloth at night adjacent to a mixed conifer and deciduous woodlot.

I could not have done it better, Bob!
