Arizona Moth

Arizona Moth
Sky Islands Traverse near mile 121 off Rt. 366, Mt. Graham , Graham County, Arizona, USA
May 31, 2018
Strong resemblance to images in BG, BOLD, MPG to Gelechia desiliens Hodges 1938, although so far appears to have been recorded only in California. This is a second submission of a moth so resembling, the other was from 4 days prior in Miller Canyon also in SE Arizona. I believe Mt. Graham is somewhat less Mexican sky island SE Arizona and begins to be more Rocky Mountain, but this at least looks like the same species in perhaps different to overlapping locale type. Found on sheet with UV black light.

Moved from ID Request.

Gelechia panella is similar and has been recorded in AZ
