I've looked through hundreds of photos and can't find one quite like this. I apologize for the poor focus., I'll upload a second one with the head in focus.

Ptenothrix sp.3 f.1
A new undescribed species of Ptenothrix, tentativelly called sp.3 at www.collembola.org.
This new species is quite variable in pigmentation. Several forms have been recorded. This form is called f.1 tentativelly.
I was tempted to call it form 'metallica' ;-)

Cool! I wish I had gotten more photos. I'll keep my eyes open for more of this species.

Oh, and 'metallic' would fit nicely!
