Okay here goes. I am wondering why, like OwlBob's photo, this one was not moved to a new page when one did not exist for it.

Our two photos were handled a minute apart but here is what happened:

The title for mine had added “Dicyrtomina sp.5 – Dicyrtomina” while OWLBOB's had just “Ptenothrix.” Mine has sp.5 in the title but was left on the genus page while his has the genus in the title but was put on a new page.

We are just trying to figure out your reasoning.

...sp.1, 3 and 5 under Ptenothrix. The precedent had been set, so to speak--so I went ahead and created sp.6.

There were no preexisting "no taxon" pages under Dicyrtomina. I'll consider making a page for sp.5, but I'd want to look through the rest of genus level pics see if any other pages should be created at the same time. It's something I'll eventually get around to doing.

Please note, all of the images remain at the genus level, whether or not they have been placed on "no taxon" pages for as-yet-undescribed species.
