Cockroach near window - Ectobius pallidus

Cockroach near window - Ectobius pallidus
Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
September 13, 2007
Size: 5mm (body)
Found near a window to which bugs are attracted at night.

Moved
Moved from Ectobius.

Moved
Moved from Cockroaches. It looks like Ectobius, I saw a lot of them around this year, and I didn't see any other kinds of roaches.

Cockroach nymph.
This is a nymph of a cockroach, possibly genus Ectobius (please see guide page).

Thanks
It looks very similar to E. pallidus here, though I don't know what the cues are to recognize species of young cockroaches:

I'll move mine to Blattaria pending a more confident identification.
