Casing - Parcoblatta

Casing - Parcoblatta
Sand Springs, Osage County, Oklahoma, USA
December 25, 2007
Size: 4.7mm (3/16")
Found under a rock on top of a boulder in some loose dirt and small debris. Please help with ID.
Notice in the second pic there seems to be serrations at the bottom. Also, the surface picks up the light and makes it look like it's glowing from the inside. The last pic shows a "seam" or something down the middle.

Moved from Cockroaches.

Roaches
Not sure from what sp., but it's definitely from a roach.

Cockroach?
Hi, Sam. It reminds me a lot of a cockroach ootheca. I could be wrong but that's what first comes to mind. Anyone else?

We had the same first impression
but unfortunately don't know much about Blattaria
