Chalcophora sp. poss. liberta ? - Chalcophora liberta

Chalcophora sp. poss. liberta ? - Chalcophora liberta
Greenwood Forest , Ocean County, New Jersey, USA
May 12, 2014
Size: 20mm
Stands out from my other NJ Chalcophora specimens and looks a little to me like C. liberta, but the Paiero et al. guide I have excludes NJ from its records.

how big?
The sutural striae look complete so that would rule out virginiensis. How big is it? It sure looks like liberta. But if it's over an inch then fortis would be something to consider. Liberta is small and coppery compared to fortis being very large and brassy.

much smaller than all of my virginiensis specimens
I'm finally back in my lab after being away. The specimen measures 20mm, placing it closer to C. liberta.
