Florida green bug - Stenocoris - female

Florida green bug - Stenocoris - Female
Cypress Creek Flood Detention Area, Wesley Chapel, Pasco County, Florida, USA
December 20, 2018
Size: ~17 mm
Appears to be female. In that case, the 7th abdominal sternite appeared to be medially split instead of bilobed. This is apparently a characteristic of Stenocoris (Oryzocornis). I clicked to add this image in Stenocoris furcifera but further research leads me to believe this is actually S. filiformis, a new species for BugGuide, based on the lack of a red longitudinal-ventral line on the abdomen. I will move it to genus.
