Curculionidae, on Silky Aster - Anthonomus
Red Oak Prairie, Allamakee County, Iowa, USA

Collected this weevil on Silky Aster, Symphyotrichum sericeum, on a hill prairie remnant.
Based on red legs, red antennae, an underwash of red on the body and being on a plant in the aster family, I have to try (and guess) Anthonomus rufipes
