Gammarotettix bilobatus - male

Gammarotettix bilobatus - Male
Middle Creek Campground, Mendocino County, California, USA
July 4, 2003
This is the common Gammarotettix species in northern California. Examination of the male genitalia is necessary to distinguish it from related species. An inhabitant of chaparral and oak woodlands. I found them at night on understory shrubs and on the ground.
