Tenebrionidae, dorsal - Centronopus calcaratus

Size: 15+ mm
I want to call this Centronopus calcaratus in part because I can't figure out what it actually is. It's within the range of length and found under bark (I know, a lot of them are). The front tibia, as far as I can see on several photos, does not have the spine shown here.

spot on.
sexually dimorphic tibial armature is rather common across insects
